if i want to go to planned parenthood for an std test, and it comes back that i have something, will planned parenthood just email the prescription to treat it to my pharmacy or do i have to go back and pick it up from planned parenthood?
Planned Parenthood provides STI treatment, including medications.
When you go to Planned Parenthood for STI testing, they will ask you whether you would like to schedule a follow up appointment OR if you would like for them to call (if you choose the latter, PP will only call if the results show that you have an infection). During your follow up appointment or if you get a phone call and are diagnosed with an STI, they will walk you through what type of treatment they will provide and help you schedule any necessary further appointments.
